in CCNA & CCENT
Hi. I passed CCNA today with a score of 988. ( 640-802)
I already started CCNP: ISCW and i was wondering how can i emulate a VPN in GNS3 ?
Any help please ?
For CCNA i used : CCNA study 6th edition , CCNA portableCommand Guide 2nd edition ,
Tools : Packet Tracer ( Good for playing with VLANs )
Boson Router Simulator : I passed threw all the labs there.
GNS3 : Best emulation software out there. ( Good for CCNA too , you will get to use real IOS )
Well hope it helps , it is not hard but you really need hands on with the labs . ( I suggest to go threw Boson then Packet Tracer and finall pass to GNS3 ).
Good Luck to everyone.
Off-topic : Great Forum , nice info. Keep up the good work

Emulating a VPN in Dynamips is just like emulating any other feature. Just configure it!An expert is a man who has made all the mistakes which can be made. -

Do you have a background in Cisco?-Daniel -
OptionsNullCode Member Posts: 72 ■■□□□□□□□□No , no background in Cisco , i was really determined and i really liked it , and i spend a lot of time on it ( almost a year -self study - ). With more breaks ( college exams and summer).
Now going for CCNP and then CCNA:S and then CCSP( security is what i really enjoy). -

Now I'm wondering what I was doing near the beginning of the month that caused me to miss this thread originally....
You just need an IOS image that supports the feature to do VPNs in GNS3 (or Dynamips/Dynagen).
