SelfTest 70-648

Has anyone tried using SelfTest's 70-648 practice exam? From what I've seen in the forums Kaplin has decent material, but has anyone used this specific test when studying to upgrade their MSCA?

I don't think a lot of members on here use selftest let alone the 648 exam itself. I'm not sure you will find an answer.

Selftest is owned by the same company that owns Transcender. It contains the same material as Transcender minus 10%. The pass guarantee is not as good with Selftest. With Trancender if you fail the first time, you get a refund. With Selftest, you have to fail twice to get a refund. It is a good product, I used it on the 290, and there were about two questions that I learned on Selftest that were not in the books that I read. I bought Selftest for 70-291. I haven't tried it yet.

You get a really good deal from getcertyfy4less. Click on the link to left that says "Exma Vouchers" to get a dollar off( I think this site gets a some cash for the referral- they deserve it!). Selftest with a voucher costs $179.

Hope this helps. Good luck on the 648. I will take it after passing the 70-291. :)

Oops I just realized that I did not answer your question completely. I did not try the Selftest for 648. Selftest did help me with the 290 though.

I'm not using it alone. I have the Syngress book for 70-648, both MS books for 70-640 & 70-642 and MeasureUp's 70-648 practice exam.

I am working on this exam as well. So far all I am using is the MS Training Kits doing all the practice examples and the practice tests that come with the books. I am thinking of taking the exam in the 3rd week of December.

Question, are you using the MeasureUp's exam from their website or just the one that comes with each book?

Both. The 648 exam you can buy off their website is different than the 640 & 642 exams that come with the books.

I used it for the 647 and thought it ws great. I used MeasureUp for my MCSE upgrade test. I thought it was very good as well. Perhaps a little less good in quality, but certainly not as bad as some of their products.
