Sorry to hear that. Keep at it though, you were probably 2 or 3 questions away from a pass.

There were alot of UO creation based on stuff like gpo and permisions.
Then there was maintaining GPO through WMI filters and Delegation.
A couple things on core Active Directory infrustructure...like where stuff is and how can be used.
Alot of stuff on Back up and Restore.

That's all I can remember, atm.

Luck is just goodwill...you passed because you worked hard to study!

Actually, i have to go back and take my 70-272, to get my MCDST. I also have to retake my 70-270 and my 70-290. I'm going to reread them over christmas and maybe in the next semester. :)

Nice one on the pass lad. I've had a 700 before (and too many 'just over' 700's now) but a pass is a pass. It's a hard exam too because whoever wrote the questions clearly doesn't know what exactly they want..

thanks guys. I really didn't think i was gunna pass it when i did. Alot of the questions had me doubting myself and going between two answers. And that's not mentioning all the questions that were the one's were had to either pick the answer with less administrative work, least expensive, which one is the "microsoft way", and the friggin' way they word questions. O well, atleast that one is done.

but it ain't no, beast. ;)

I'll be honest and say I fluked the beast to get my MCSA. Not in the respect that I don't know what i'm on about, but I was borderline on the knowledge that I have to take in as I got a 700 bang on. All of the stuff that I will use on day to day work and for infrastructure design and implementation for my clients I took in, but stuff like subnetting I learnt just enough to pass the exam. The way I see, i'm not going to sit infront of the client counting 1s and 0s, that's just bonkers. In the real world it's simple, type 'subnet calculator' into google and away you go, then use the REAL knowledge from the exam to help design the bulk of it.

Anyways, enough banging on icon_lol.gif Nice one, an exam that shouldn't be taken lightly even if you know AD well due to the dumb questions.
