WAN Connections

Would someone tell me the LINK, PROTOCOL,ENCAPSULATION METHOD, SPEED,and other technology associated with Point-to-point, circuit switched and packet switch connections.

I am looking for a CHART short of thing that help me making a brief outline...
I want a good link also for detailed information....
Distractions all along the way.....perhaps will end up breaking everything

    Ya know...if you went ahead and made a chart on your own, it would not only make the information stick for you better, but it would also help create a valuable resource for others as well, similar to what Jeremy Stretch has done with his packetlife sheets. I think it would be a great way to study and give back to others at the same time! :)

    whats the different wan technology PPP, HDLC, ATM, Frame Relay. Check the RFC

    Layer 1 might be T1/E1, DS3, OC3, OC12, OC48, OC192, & OC 549,923,442
