Policies?

Hey, Im just reading throug my MCSE XP Pro book right now in prep for the exam. Im about half way through, im just wondering if there is alot on policies on the exam, because it looks like a lot of info to memorize. Would help if I could eliminate some stuff and memorize the most important stuff.

Well, the thing is called Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft Windows XP Professional and setting policies are a part of Administration. True, once you get them set, they mostly stay that way, but they have to be addressed.

Go to http://www.microsoft.com/learning/exams/70-270.asp and check out the Skills measured by exam 70-270. You will find local security policies mentioned there.

And, if your studying the M$ exam guide, I would take it seriously.
