    Overall it has good organization. You do a good job at putting your best qualities towards the top. If your education includes a college degree, I would move it above the TECHNICAL SKILLS section.

    I would move MS Exchange Server and SMS administration to the front of that section since those are the most impressive.

    You may want to try and rewrite your job details so they focus on how you improved the company or made customers happier rather than just listing your responsibilities.

    I have a few nit-picky things that you should fix because employers will notice:

    Under Key Qualifications, the word affective should be spelled effective.

    Under Technical Knowledge, dissembling should be disassembling

    Check all your verbs and make sure that things you did in the past are described in past tense. Things you do on a daily basis in your current job should be in the present tense.

    I'm also not sure I would mention the two jobs that you worked for less than a month unless it's clear that they were short-term contract jobs.

    Thank you for your feedback! icon_wink.gif It is always good to have another person look it over to see where, you might be going wrong. Yes I'll have to change those spellings not sure why "Word" didn't pick those up icon_redface.gif That's what I get for relying on software for my spelling corrections, I think my spelling has got worse since using them. I do get a good reponse from IT recruiters as regards to my resume but I know it's far from perfect always room for improvement.

    I would open up as "Microsoft Certified Professional"

    Also, try to find better software to fill the resume. IE - Kill the Adobe (if your MCP you should know Adobe.) And fill with any piece of major utilities software.

    I noticed you added Exchange 5.5 - I would leave it at just "Exchange Server Administration" that way you don't sell yourself short with only the "5.5"

    Get key words like “System Administration of"

    You have experience in being a desktop tech. You need to gear your resume toward administration of Servers & corp. software. You can do this by mixing your desktop experience with the corp. software you know. Blend it all into one resume, using Key words.

    I don't know about putting working towards MCSA as opposed to the certs you already have finished. Someone else noted this one another site; but thats your perogative to put it there. :)

    At least you are currently working now. I just had a few day temp IT jobs since returning back looking for work and finishing my MCSE this past July. It's tougher and more competitive where I live but I may have a longer temp computer install project before the Thanksgiving day.

    I had some good interviews and a bad one where I didn't connect with the interviewer. I didn't like him anyway. icon_mad.gif You still have to fill out job applications list you dates and former bosses and why you left or were laid off and fill out some job/business references and some credit checks background. Who knows if they check it or not; mine were over 2 years old and they might not be there anymore.

    My advice is to send your resume to out of state jobs or when they list a college degree requirement too. Even if they say local candidates only. Yeah I don't like some of these restrictions but if you are desparate like I am to get a positive offer then I do it. :oicon_mad.gificon_cool.gif
