Beta Exams

Ive heard a lot of people mention about beta exams. Obviously the word beta im guessing its some pre released exam of the the real exam would be like.

Firstly ... Do you pay for them
Secondly ... Do they count for anything
Thirdly ... Where would you go to do one?

Nope, MS Betas are completely free.

Yeap, if you pass them you get the full cert once its released.

Beta Exam Announcements

The only real caveat here is that most Beta exams have no released material for them. That means you have to hunt around in whitepapers and pre-release articles for the information that's likely to come up.
