Trunking on a 2900XL series switch

in CCNA & CCENT
Has anyone got trunking working on a 4mb 2900XL series switch? Running enterprise edition 11.2(icon_cool.gifSA4 IOS. I had heard I may not be able to do trunking because of memory constraints.

    Yup, will trunk without a problem. Memory isn't an issue.

    Thats what I thought thanks. For some odd reason, Cisco said on their website that 4mb 2900XL switches would not trunk icon_scratch.gif

    Hi,

    Trunking is not a problem. You might have a problem where u use a; for an example 3550 swtich with a 2950 and u set it to dynamc auto and the 2950 to other features. Then it wouldn't be able to communicate and u will see ur switch port goign amber.
