Guys

i just managed to get a cheap 2610XM with 16MB flash, would it be enough to support a 12.4 ios with Advanced Security? i am gonna be using for a home lab, the 12.4 ios is for the future certification thats all.

One helpful tool for this is found here: Cisco Feature Navigator - Cisco Systems

But to answer your question, no it is not enough. The IOS image c2600-advsecurityk9-mz.124-17.bin requires a total of 128MB RAM and 32MB Flash.

An often overlooked 2600 model that really rocks is the 2691

It was basically the top of the line 2600. While not an XM, it can run most flavors of 12.4 without a hitch. They max out (I think) at 256MB RAM/64MB Flash.
