    Ok, let' see.....

Tcp/Ip is The protocol in todays world. Without, you can not access the internet. It is used with Windows, and also Unix and Apple can use it as well.

Ipx/Spx is a Novell protocol. You can info on that here.

Netbeui is used with Windows. By Definition...

See above link for info on NetBios, as they are related.

    Appletalk on Macs.

Https uses 443. You could block that port, however, without blocking port 80, which is used by Http, any non-secure site may be viewed. Ports.....

    Okay,
the above list adddressed your first part however the example question was not.
    Perhaps I can help.

your subnet is /24 or 255.255.255.0 meaning it is a standard class C subnet. That is the first three octets are network ids and the last is one entire host id range. You have to minus the lowest possible number and highest possible number. So now .0 and .255 are gone.

The first three octets have to match. If you look at the second octet in your example, B has a different number. C would be the correct answer. I hope this not only gave you the answer but the ability to see it for your self.

    Good day,
If you do not feel like a newbie you probably should. :)
