Icnd 1 passed!

Hey

Passed icnd 1 today with a score of 955, and alot of spare time.

I was a total wreak when i entered the testing facility, and the first question
i get is a lab question, actually the hardest question i had for the whole test!

Now im off to celebrate, and thanks for this awsome forum, helped me alot.

Sorry it took so long for me to resond has been a pretty hectic week for me, oh well here it is.

My studie time was about 3 months.

I used the books by odum, read the whole book two times, first one just to get to know everything, then the next to focus on the things i dident quite get the first time. tip the "do you know this already quizes" is really awsome.

Did alot of subnetting practice, when i was at work i solved subnett scenarios in my head

I used packet tracer 5 alot to in the beginnings before i got real equipment, in my opinion for ccnt its the best simulator.

My lab now is one 2611XM one 1821 one 877 which i use as my home router. and two 2950 switches.

I did a bootcamp in rip since i dident really bother with it untill i decided which date to take the exam, iv always used ospf and eigrp becouse they are simple bettre.
