After changing the domain administrator passwords: this is the issue I am having now.

I have tried rebooting the server and the tape drive with no avail.

Just wondering if anyone else ran into the same issue or there's something I'm missing after the passwords were changed. icon_redface.gif

Have you right clicked on the device and set to Online?

Does Windows actually see the device? Check Device Manager.

Checked the cables and all that stuff?
    IT guy since 12/00

Recent: 11/2019 - RHCSA (RHEL 7); 2/2019 - Updated VCP to 6.5 (just a few days before VMware discontinued the re-cert policy...)
    Working on: RHCE/Ansible
Future: Probably continued Red Hat Immersion, Possibly VCAP Design, or maybe a completely different path. Depends on job demands...

Fixed. Powered down both the server and tape library, brought the library up first and voila!

It was more than likely one of the backup exec services, with a password issue. :) use the tools menu to restart them all next time :)

I had absolutely nothing but trouble from 12.5. The worst choice I've made in the past few months was upgrading from the perfectly running 12.0 to the garbage that was 12.5.
