One question from A+ OS

For example there are 2 physical drives C: and

. If we create 2 logical drives within C: there will be C:

E: G: drives (assuming that F: belongs to CD-ROM drive). The question is: will the mentioned physical drive

change its' drive letter or not? If yes what letter then? It was one of the question from my A+ OS test in which I failed

Yes, it will simply move the drive letters down one. You start with C & D, with E as the CDROM. After the split, you would have the first disk, with drives C, D, and E. The second hard disk becomes drive F, and the CDROM is relegated to G. You can use Windows or 3rd party software to alter drive letters if you choose, but that would the default.
