3 laptops 2.0 duo core for 2 of them, 2.2 duo core for the 3rd, 2 gigs of ram each.
1 desktop computer, 2.4 ghz 2 gigs of ram 500 gig HDD (this acts as a fileshare for the house)
Juniper SA IVE to allow for remote access
1 crappy linksys router and one crappy gigset router that my ISP provided
1 24" wide screen with a 22" on the way

Nice setup you got there Aldur. How often do you use that setup at home?

I am currently running P4 3Ghz HT enabled /Win XP/ 2GB Ram and 160GB HDD. Since I do most of the "training" at work I don't see a point to upgrade my home PC. Aslo there is a lappy for wife connected via Wi-Fi.

I'm kinda jealous of the download speeds some of you folks have. My dsl is provided by work, which is obviously el-cheapo and slow. Moreso since we sold the broadband part to a certain infamous company here in the UK/Europe and I'm convinced they have replaced my copper line for two yoghurt cartons and a piece of string.

The one laptop is for the wife but as the rest of it I use it all the time.

The router's are consistently on since I'm going to be taking the JNCIE-ER in about 2 months so I spend alot of time playing around with them. Of course my power bill reflects this usage but I figure it's an investment that will pay out.

From there I usually have my two laptops on, one for getting into the routers and the other is basically there to play music. I might load up a topology on the music box lappy and use that screen is the occasion calls for it.

I have pics in an old thread somewhere. Although I've yet to really post pictures of my actuall computer case itself and all the neat wire routing and cathode tubes I put in.

I would kill for 2+ Mb upload. I love hosting Half Life servers. The most I've ever been able to get is 512Mb.

I'll have to snap some pictures of my desk. My father-in-law builds homes and knowing I was in need of a better workspace he surprised us with some nice silverish countertop and installed a L-shaped counter about 10' x 20' in my office. I have it cluttered all full of crap now, but it's very nice

The worst bit is the cabeling

My tower doesn't have a decent SAS Backplane so to drive my 8 SAS drives from my Adaptec 5805, I had to get some MiniSAS to Multilane FanOut cable

Oh and disks are 4x1TB ES.2 SAS in Raid 5 and 4x146GB Cheetah 15K.6 in Raid10

Laptop : just a company laptop (Lenovo T61) and one of the first Intel Macbooks which collect dust somewhere here in my apartment.

Router : Just a DrayTek 2820 - no other "big" stuff at home as I work in a hosting company so all my personal test kit (Cisco, Sonics etc.) are in the datacenter on a decent connection
