I took the XK0-002 version, and with a little help from the Linux+ tech notes I found in this forum, I passed! Now that I have this out of way, it's onto the Microsoft stuff.....

    congratulations.
Out of curiosity, what did you use to study?
I see you mentioned the technotes, but what else?

Also, what is your background in using linux, long time user?

I pretty much skimmed through the tech notes, and that was about it. I've been using Linux for about 6 years now at home and work, Slackware and Redhat/CentOS mostly. I would say, get this book, this book, and read through the Linux+ tech notes on this forum to start. Also, install some version of Linux at home if you have not already done so. It will help with your studying. Hope that helps!

I reviewed the TechNotes sticky thread in the Linux+ portion of this site, as well as using Linux at home and at work for quite some time. I say, start using Linux (I recommend Slackware or CentOS) at home if you are not doing so, review the TechNotes, and probably finding a good online practice test question generator would help. Make sure to get familiar with the terminal and with VI. Good luck on your test!
