No, RFC numbers are not on the test. Look at the objectives for what exactly is on the test. You will need to know what Class A, B, C, and APIPA is. It's very basic subnetting questions. -

No, the RFC's aren't on there. But, there is basic subnetting questions. Depending on where you are going with your certifications, though, you might want to study a bit more on subnetting. They come in HUGE on the Cisco exams. But, if you are only focusing on the Net+, you don't have to. -

Neither are required.
The only info you need that approaches subnetting is how the classes operate and what the object and ramifications are of subnetting. You don't need to actually do any subnetting.
The sort of stuff you'll get asked is 172.34.54.2 is what class network? Or what is the default subnet mask of the address 192.186.0.2 and so on. You definitely also need to know which addresses are specially reserved.
BTW, go get the syllabus from Comptia and use it so you know first hand what you need to know.
