    Yes, I believe they are valid on the current exams.

    To the best of my knowledge subnet-zero is not valid on the CCNA exam. Todd Lammle also tells you in his book that it's not valid on the CCNA exam.

    All I can say is that I noticed that the

    ip subnet zero

    command is in the running-config on the sims...

    (and that has nothing to do with the questions I had, just an observation)

    Well, that just goes towards the credibility of how thorough the exam sims are, since it's enabled by default in the newer IOS's. But yeah, unless it's explicitly mentioned in the question, subnet-zero and the all-ones subnet aren't usable for the CCNA
