Password storage programs?

/usr/usr Member Posts: 1,768
Do you guys know of any? I've got so many passwords, I constantly have to sit and try to think of which variation of which password I used on a site. It's frustrating. Anyone know of a small program which will store my passwords and encrypt them? I don't need anything fancy...

    Firefox will do you if you want it on the browser level. Nice alternative to IE, tabbed browser and all those IE exploits are harmless (malware? what malware??)

    getfirefox.com

    IE will also remember passwords if you want it to...
    I'm not a complete idiot... some parts are missing.

    I would just let IE manage your passwords, unless you switch to FFox. They're are password manager programs out there like Gator and such, but those are useless IMHO. Password proggies

    You need Microsoft Fingerprint Reader :D

    It replaces all your passwords with your fingerprint.This is my next toy as the price is not that high (50$).

    I'm reading the reviews from the users,and the people are complainig for 2 things which doesn't work with this fingerprint reader;

    -you can not log on to a domain with it.
    -it is not compatible with firefox.

    If I want to keep something even remotely secure, I wouldn't use anything produced by Microsoft. Call me biased... icon_rolleyes.gif

    I also read those, and well, I don't use FFox, and I have no domain to worry about logging on to. No matter, I have other things to buy first, but it's a good idea, even if it's from M$.

    I love FFox...use it on my computer on base...just wish the military would catch up and see how great it is compared to making us patch IE every week icon_rolleyes.gif

    Does Firefox encrypt it's saved passwords? If so, what type of encryption?
