    I would:

    • List your skills before certifications. Since you're definately not entry level, that should be more relevant.
    • Re-order the certifications to list the ones that you feel are most relevant to your job search first (ie, MCSE then CCNA or vice-a-versa, and A+ at the end)
    • Consider removing the redundant certs (CCENT, MCP)
    • My gut reaction to seeing the router and switch models listed in your experience is that it's more info than is really needed. HR won't know that those are, and a network engineer either wouldn't care so long as you know the IOS, or would recognize them as lower end models.

I would consider removing the "Have built over 100 custom PC's". Your A+ certification if anything would qualify you to be able to build a computer and having the line in there once I read it just kinda de-valued your resume a bit I think.

I would clean up the ceritfication part a bit. Specify the technology.

    MCSE: 2003/XP
    MCITP: Enterprise Administator, Windows 2008
    MCTS: Configuring Windows Vita

    etc etc

I know a lot of people (myself included) that leave both the full name and the acronym in order to be more visible on keyword searches.

Get rid of CCENT. It's redundant.

Change "IT Engineer" to "IT Professional".

I would try to put some quantitative data in your accomplishment bullets like you did in your last bullet of IT Manger. While it's great that you accomplish big tasks, you should always think about it in a business sense. Why implment project x? Was it to reduce costs? Bring new effecencies? Of course you can't do that for everything but one or two of them would make your resume shine further.

On your older jobs it seems that you have intermixed tasks (paragraph) with accomplishments (bullets). I would rethink the older jobs to be consistent in your resume.

Only other thing is your resume seems a little "light". We both have about the same amount of years in the business and if with formatting and all it seems that the resume as it stands would be ~1.5 pages. I would try to focus on the accomlishments even more given your years of experience and the fact you are a IT Manager now.

Also I think you (and anyone) should post their word/pdf versions of your document. There are always formatting considerations that can factor in.

This isn't going to help you in any way, but you put Company 1 and then Company B and Company C. Like I said, completely useless since that isn't even actually on your real resume, but it made me chuckle.

Thank you all very much for your insight. I will take all your ideas into consideration as they make a lot of sense. I hope you all wouldn't mind re-visiting this thread once I've posted the changes I've made.

I would put summary, skills, work history, school then certs. In your summary you should list some highlights about your resume. Put in that you have CCNA and MSCE. Your summary is what gets you noticed and gets HR to actually read the rest of the resume. Under schools list your GPA if it is good (3.4 or higher) and any honors or honor societies you were a member of. Also get rid of the "have built over 100 pcs". List the programing languages instead of "Multiple programming languages" under schools. Add that to your skills section. Hope this helps.
