ASA without acls and nats

Hi. I just wish to know given the asa has a routing table allowing traffic from one interface to travel to another interface and vice versa but it doesn't have any nats or static nats nor any acls on any of its interfaces, can packets still travel from one network to the other?

Thanks in advance.

From higher security interfaces to lower security interfaces yes.... but from lower security interfaces to higher security interfaces no :)

...and if you are still running with 'no nat-control' (the default in 7x +), if not then you will need NAT.
We responded to the Year 2000 issue with "Y2K" solutions...isn't this the kind of thinking that got us into trouble in the first place?
