Win 7 Beta Results (None Yet)

I know it should take 8 weeks or more to see the reults but I am getting antsy. With the massive amount of response they got do you think they will be able to stick to the 8 eek average? Any body heard whispers on the interwebs?

Thanks for the heads up. Figures the one day i dont check, is the day they release the results.

I only see it on Prometrics page, the MCP Transcript server is down....again.

Holy crap Prometric's site is slow, but at least it loads - I keep getting a runtime error on the MS Learning transcript page.

That's probably because everyone who took this exam has heard the results are posted and they're all trying to log on at once! I was actually kinda surprised that I was able to get onto the Prometric & MCP sites as easily as I did last night, guess I got on before the mad rush...

Still says tested over here in NZ... Wonder why they decided to do NA first, A set date would have been better :P

Hmmmm. Last night it said passed, and this morning it says failed. Grrrr. Wonder if they messed up and it will be switched back to passed? Or if they messed up before and fixed it already? That's messed up, though. I was celebrating already. And I did make sure I checked the right one... 5 times...

Of course, with all the problems Prometric has been having, I am not surprised at the problem. Why did MS drop Pearson Vue, they were a much, MUCH better testing provider. Better centers, better site, better customer service, better all around.

Oh well, I thought I would have passed, too. I hope I can get the score reports so I know what I need to study on so I can take it again and pass!

Wait, so did you check on the MCP site or Prometric only?? Prometric is beyond effed up lately, and it could just be an internal glitch on their end.

Passed here too!! Listed on both Prometric and MCP sites? This is the first Beta exam I have ever taken, so I am wondering if Microsoft will mail out a score report, or do I just know that I passed?

I'm wondering if they'll offer paper certs on this one...as of July, they are changing to not send out paper certs without a S/H fee, so maybe they're going that route with the Windows 7 exam? I kinda want a printed cert - I know they don't MEAN much really, but to me they're symbolic of my hard work and I'd like to add this one to my collection without having to pay for it.

I'm pretty sure we just get a pass/fail response & no score & no score report.

I checked prometric yesterday afternoon, it showed a fail. Well, I wasnt expecting to pass, but reading so many people passing on TE, I thought I might sneak in too. This morning I checked again, the fail had turned into a pass. I didnt exactly rejoice because I thought it might change again. And you bet it did, checked it again 10 minutes ago, showed a fail again. Who the f is doing this...I'll call up prometric (read sh!tric) tomorrow and see what they have to say about this. And yes, it doesnt show up on my transcript. So I am thinking I didnt pass.

That is so unbelievably poor that they would flip back & forth like that...how are you expected to take seriously any information in your profile on their website?? The only explanation I can think of is that MS is not giving them a clear signal as to who has passed, in which case they should not list anything until they are sure. Poor judgment and poor execution on the part of Prometric.

No e-mail for me yet but after seeing the action in this thread I decided to check Prometric. Looks like I don't have a good track record against beta exams.

Chalk up a fail for me. Which is what I deserved anyhow since I didn't get a chance to study.
