CCNP finally!

Passed my final ISCW this am with a 927. I couldn't believe I made that high. I was just praying that I passed when I clicked finish. I did not feel confident during the test. WHOO HOOOOO...time for a break considering I have a newborn baby.

Good luck guys!

Congratulations. How long did it take you overall to get your CCNP if I may ask?

I started in 2007 with the BSCI and just completed today. I took several breaks in between tests though. I have moved twice and started new jobs, etc which made me not do it as fast as I could.

Congrats on the pass, and your new status as CCNP. Anything new on the horizon, certification-wise, or is it all family-time now?

It is definitely family time for a few weeks, then I may start on the CWNA. I do 90% wireless at work, so having that would be very beneficial to me.

    Thanks guys,

Congrat man, enjoy your time. By the way don't mind tell me what equipment you use for the CCNP lab? I was currently preparing, but because of budget problem, only able to use Dynagen for the lab practical. cheers
Try not look like a Expert but be a Real Expert

Path to CCNP: BSCI -> BCMSN -> ISCW -> ONT

I have used a variety of things from work. Anything from 2611XMs, 2821s, 3845's, 3550's, 3560's, 4500's, 6500's, WLC's, WCS, GNS3 (rocks!)....Just anything I could get my hands on really. Lots of reading.

I think it is possible to pass all 4 exams with no hands on lab time, however it is tremendously easier if you understand it with real experience. In other words, don't break the bank spending 10k bucks for the CCNP. If you're going for CCIE, it may be warranted.

Use dynamips if you don't want to spend. Zero lab time = paper cert = another clueless CCNP (assuming when you say zero lab time that you don't actually work with Cisco stuffs everyday).

I think it is impossible, unless sombody uses some kind of **** cheets.
I passed BSCI exam on my second try. I did at least 50 labs at home, and yet, at exam day, I didn't believe that I passed.
Anyway, congratulations, that's an achievement :)
