They just sent me a book

Hello,

Saw a few threads about study books and I had a couple of thoughts and opinions about it.

CompTIA sent me this book "ILT Series CompTIA Security+ Certification" and thusfar in my studies it's really pretty good. That said, I was wondering two things about this: a) could I have bought an exam voucher cheaper without having this book? I think I payed like 312 though the CompTIA site for the voucher.

Secondly, b) do all CompTIA vouchers come with a free book? I would think this is kick ass but later on I might want to save my money and get just the voucher (if this is possible, see above) on a certain test that I already have numerous books for.

Yes you can get the vouchers by them selves. The Sec+ voucher is $258 by itself.
