I got a new router from work (2521)

Does anyone know if this will be useful? I saved it from the trash.

It has 10 serial ports (some are A/S), one AUI port, and one 10bt ethernet port.

I think it might be useful as a frame relay switch, but I have not been able to research it yet.

I think it is kind of an oddball in that is has 10 serial ports.

    You sure it isn't a 2522? A 2521 doesn't have 10 serial ports.

As you correctly guessed, it will be useful as a frame relay switch.

You got it - it is a 2522.

I'll have to boot it up and get to work this weekend...

    Thanks!

Thanks guys, it missed the trash pile by about 1 hour. I had to have a buddy save it for me.

Do you see anything particularly special besides the 8 serial ports? I can see using it for frame relay, but if there is anything else special that I should use it for please let me know!

I haven't had the chance to get to know this router really well yet, since I just got it today.

    Thanks,
    Drew

The special part is that its got lots of serial ports and will work well as a frame relay switch :)
