CCNP (or) CCSP ?

Hi people.

I have just completed my CCNA with 986\1000.
I want to get into securities, do i have to complete CCNP to get a better understading on CCSP (or) Can i proceed further .

    I've asked the same question to many people, and they all seemed to think that starting with the NP would be ideal.

    Im in the same position, ive recently completed my ccna now ive started doing the CCNA:Security concentration exam before i go for CCNP. From what ive read i think you have to pass the CCNA:Security before you can start the CCSP.

    Yes, that is true. You have to complete the CCNA:Security concentration before you can start taking the CCSP exams. Supposedly, there is content overlap between CCNA:Security and ISCW for CCNP. I have thought about that as well and have decided to do CCNP/CCDP before CCSP.

    I believe you can take them in any order you want, but of course doing the CCNA:Sec before doing CCSP makes the most sense.
