I have broken entirely new ground in the way for students to look at the OSI model...

OK GUYS! First of all, I would like to state that you should check out my 'A Network+ Student's Blog' thread to see how I have come along with the OSI model. Not only did I find a graphic which displays the OSI model visually and in perfect detail, but I came up with my own groundbreaking way of remembering the OSI layer. Here it is guys. I am for real here. You are about to witness GENIUS. Give all credit to Ricardo Casals of Tampa, FL for this one:

Applications present sessions for transport to the network's data link which becomes physical.

Holy crap. It is THAT easy. Why did no uber geek ever present the OSI layer in such a simple way? Simple: apparently no uber geek before me has the comm/teaching skillz that I do... or something. Yeah. Not really, but really, look at how simple I made it for any retard to remember the OSI layer. All seven layers and what they do in a simple and short sentence. I'm ready for my Nobel Prize. J/K (but not really J/K, for real, where is my golden trophy?)

I've had too many beers tonight. Sorry.

Anyway, I hope newbies struggling with the OSI model enjoy this one.

I think what he is saying is that his sentence that helps him remember the OSI model also explains it, where as.. Please Do Not Throw Sausage Pizza Away does not explain it.

I was always a fan of a much more dirtier version to remember PDNTSPA.

First of all sorry for drinking and posting. I was vomiting bile this morning. Anyway, I was excited to think of a simple short sentence that can describe the OSI model and what it does for people who don't even understand computers/networking. Mnemonics aren't for everyone. I always pretty much hated mnemonics, especially ones over 4 or 5 words long. This, all the words for the seven layers written in a short and descriptive sentence, I really like it. It's one of the most creative things I've done in a while.
