I am new to cisco software and hardware.
I have my Network+ and have been working with smaller networks for around 5 years. I want to learn all there is to know about networks with cisco.
Can anyone recommend me books to start learning CCNA stuff.
Thanks!
Jamie

Maybe look for a lab book. You'll want packet tracer or at least GNS. You'll have a harder time understanding STP without at least packet tracer or live equipment. Not sure if GNS with the module will work for STP/switching stuff.Currently working on:

If you really want to learn you would benefit greatly from buying your own equipment and setting up a lab. You can get a decent set up for around $350
You should also look into CBT nuggets CCNA and use it in conjunction with your lab

Optionsrowelld Member Posts: 176The ICND1 and ICND2 books from Wendell Odom are really good. If you can, purchase a kit from CiscoKits and start doing the labs. I use the Trainsignal videos too which I think are quite useful.Visit my blog: http://www.packet6.com - I'm on the CWNE journey!
