So I'm upgrading the IOS on a few Switches I just got from ebay. The first was a 2950c, upgraded no problem. The second is a 2950, Couldn't get it to upgrade to save my butt. I even tried resetting it back to factory defaults, but nothing worked. So I deceded to delete some files the previous owner left on there. I was looking at this list of commands and found the "Delete Flash" command..LOL Guess what? It worked! I killed the image..LOL.
So I learned how to use Xmodem to upload a new (and current) image. Switch works great and is up to date. Perhaps I should get a Cisco book
I'm still laughing at mtself over this..
Good thing I start my ICND1 class on Monday.
