Dear All ,

1.0 Do you need to memorize all the laws mentioned in the prep guide?
2.0 Do they give acronyms in the test, or do we have to know them ? (Eg. HIPAA)

    This goes for all info on CISSP. You need to understand the concepts more than the individual laws. The main ones would be helpful but the entire test is to see if you grasp the concepts of info security. You're studying like a techie icon_surprised.gif. The why is more important than the what.

    The computer security and information protection laws are important to understand in concept and scope rather than to the letter. The CISSP is a global exam; it is not expected for people outside of the USA to have an understanding of what SOX, GLB, HIPAA, etc. is anymore than to have people in the USA understand what those equivalents are in other countries. AN=nd yes, you should know what all the legal definitions are.
