Help getting my computer to play youtube 1080p videos

JUST PURCHASED A ACER NOTEBOOK WITH A 15.6 SCREEN. WHEN I GO TO PLAY VIDEOS IN 1080P FORMAT, ITS ALL CHOPPY AND SLOW IS THERE ANYWAY I CAN FORMAT MY CODECS SO IT WOULD RUN SMOOTHLY. I JUST DOWNLOADED DIVX AND THE UPDATED ADOBE FLASH PLAYER

I JUST PURCHASED A ACER ASPIRE 5810TZ-4657
SU2700 (1.3 GHz,800)
INTEL GMA 4500MHD
3GB DDR3 MEMORY
320GB HDD
Currently Studying for Network+, Server+, and Security+

    Your CPU is too slow to handle 1080p playback.

    You can try using the Adobe Flash 10.1 prerelease which in theory can help you by enabling GPU acceleration. No clue if the Intel GMA you've got is supported though.

    It is prerelease software so expect weird issues.

    Even with GPU acceleration, it appears that you laptop CPU/GPU is too slow to handle 1080p.

    Thanks guys after installing the prerelease adobe all videos i view in 1080p show good without skipping or being choppy you guys are life savers thanks.

    Ah nice. From the article I linked, they had the dual core version of the CPU you've got and had some issues with 1080p playback. I guess the newer Flash beta or your Intel drivers have improved since then.

    "Flash Player 10.1 beta 2 was released on December 17, 2010 and is available for download."

    Wait. Lemme check my calendar again...
