What study materials should I use for MCDST?

    For my studying material, I used the sybex and the microsoft labs.
    I have registered for my 70-271 for the 16th of Feb.
    I will let you know how I did.

    I used Microsoft Press + Transcender + virtual machine to play with it for 271 and 272

    After that i took 270 and was very easy

    How similar is the 270 and 271.

    Pretty similar

    70-270 is more general, 70-271 more precise

    but very similar, i have a friend that actually had 2 same questions on 270 and 271, lol

    and 272 is more application side

    Which books did you use?

    Sybex MCDST? Year published 2006? Isn't this outdated?

    I liked the Exam Cram books myself, were quite adequate and easy to read.
