I was asked by someone if they thought if you took the A+ 601 practive test online and got a 73% on all 250 questions it has would you be ready to go sit for the A+ Exam. I thought I would bring this to the community to get some input so...

If you got a 73% 173 questions right out of 236 would you be ready to sit for the A+ exam 601 which only has 100 questions. Your thoughts please

Getting 73% of the questions right on any cert test is walking a pretty thin line.

I concur. Even getting an 80% - 90% I still wouldn't feel all that ready...

I'd have to agree - the mix of questions on every exam is different, so if you get one that's heavy on that 27% you're not strong on, then you could be setting yourself up for a failure.

I'd say put down the practice exams and start reviewing those topics you're not strong on. It's a much better use of your time than practice exams.
