I would tend to for the most part agree with what is said in this article. The other side of the coin is the fact that jargon at times makes it easier for a professional group to communicate with each other.

And I really don't see why "don't give your password to anybody" is more difficult for an adult to understand than a 4 year old and "don't take candy from strangers."

No help desk person is telling an end user about symmetric algorithms. Companies dumb down presentations on security to the general staff. Not using jargon is a A+ skill.
