Adding a 10mbps card to Cisco 1720

Another good find... I have come across a WIC 1ENET card and it fits in my 1720 router.

The problem here is the OS does not recognize this card. I read where there are certain modules that require OS upgrades.

I have looked in Cisco's website and could not find any list of images for the 1720 that would solve this issue. (I am sure that I might have better luck if I logged in, but I haven't registered yet.)

Is there a place where I could find the name of the image that I would need to get this card working? Also, I have posted the sh ver below and as you can see, this router only has 32MB ram and only 8MB flash. I wonder if I need to upgrade the memory before installing the image?

Put it in slot 0 and use 12.2.8T or newer. They removed the slot restriction on a later IOS release.

I have one one the way to use to connect the lab to internet, got it for £22 (= $33) and it has max memory, a WIC-1ADSL & WIC 1ENET.

Did Cisco only enable slot 1 in certain IOSs?
