Haven't been around for 2 years boys, exams are about to expire, haven't touched a book, haven't done much of equipment work either, any pointers would be great

I'd say study the material for the Route and Switch (don't take the test if you don't want to) and go for the Troubleshoot exam to get you CCNP. Along the way you can use GNS3 to get yourself back up to speed. Perhaps picking up a copy of network warrior and giving it a once over will do you some good as well.
