I’ve been on a break from certs lately but have decided to pick backup and finish mcsa and just passed the 70-291.
My plan is to get the mcsa and then update it to 2008 server and then start on cisco stuff.
I also have network+ cert.
My question is what do you guys think I should do for the elective for the mcsa.
Should I go a head and do A+?

    Congrats on the Pass!

If you are looking to save some money, you could take the Windows 7 exam instead of the A+.

    Congrats on the new cert!
If you're already working in IT you should probably just skip the A+ and do Windows 7 like the poster above said.
No longer work in IT. Play around with stuff sometimes still and fix stuff for friends and relatives.

We responded to the Year 2000 issue with "Y2K" solutions...isn't this the kind of thinking that got us into trouble in the first place?

Congrats! And skip A+ and go for Win7, as you can use it on your way to MCITP:EA.
