Any Microsoft Certs pertaining to querying/DML?

At least in my narrow view most of the MS DBA certs are geared toward actually being an adminstrator. Is there any lower level "SQL" certs Microsoft related. Anything pertaining to the utilization of Joins, Unions, Views etc. I've taken several collegiate database classes so I have some basic concepts, although I've never dealt with stored procedures or triggers, other than reading about them.
Any certification existing saying hey mister employer I can write a freaking join?

Microsoft does have a couple of certs available for Database Developers. 70-433 is the Technology Specialist. Once that is passed you can then take 70-451 which is the professional level. -

As jncarter pointed out, you'd be looking for the Database Developer certifications for that.

Thanks for taking the time to address my question. After ITIL and a few other goals, I will definately look into this certification. Quick question, I have 2008 express on my machine at home, would that version of 2008 be enough to study and pass that exam? Or would I need to get the reporting version or another version of SQL 2008?

The Express has most of the features you need for this exam. But you can download the trial and install it on a VM. http://www.techexams.net/forums/sql-server-2000-2005-exams/53386-sql-server-2008-r2-downloads.html
If you are really serious you may want to pick up a copy of the developer edition, which is around $50 US. I run developer edition on my laptop.
