A+ Study Material?
I just borrow an A+ book from my friend. He took a class last year (2008-2009) to help him get ready for the test and I was wondering if it would be worthwhile to read this book or just go out and buy a newer book.
The book was meant for the 2006 Exam and the title of the book is:
CompTIA A+ Certification: A Comprehensive Approach for all 2006 Exam Objectives by element K

Pick up a new book. Just my opinion.No longer work in IT. Play around with stuff sometimes still and fix stuff for friends and relatives. -

I used these:

They map to the 2009 objectives and they were easy to read

You can't usually go wrong with Mike Meyers book
Agree, I am about half way through the 7th edition, it's well written and easy to understand. So refreshing after reading Steve McQuerry's ICND2 book. -

I have one of his A+ books, but it's for the 2001 exam so I don't think that would be the way to study for the current A+ exam.

What do you do, collect A+ books? I have editions 6 and 7 of Mike Meyers books (took old test, bought new book with xmas gift card) and that's my colection.No longer work in IT. Play around with stuff sometimes still and fix stuff for friends and relatives.

When I was young and just getting into computers I found it in a bargain book store for $10, so I bought it and I just never really used it until now.
