Would you guys write the certification vouchers off tax wise? It would probably fall under the educational tax credits or business expenses. I'm not sure which since it wasn't exactly required by my job

    No.

    You'd need to be able to itemize, and unless you have a plethora of deductions(or a few children) or both, most of the time it makes sense to take the standard deduction.

    Check with your local CPA. But 'no' I would not.

    I usually write off my study materials & vouchers, but I have a lot of deductions. Kids, home office, donations, and stuff like that.

    I always write them off as "business expenses" but I always itemize.

    Yeah I always itemize and put down certs and study materials
