Hi All
I have this 851w that I bought for practice. I would like to use it with a laptop that does not have a serial port. Someone told me to use an RJ45 Patch Cable, I tried that and it did not work. Please help me with what cable/connector to use, what port/console to use on the router to connect it to the laptop. Please help me out. Thanks in advance.

However, given most home labs I went with a Sabrent cable because you add 6 feet + your console cable, gives you that added stretch to your routers/switches btw, if your running Win7 you will have to download the drivers from the manufactures website as they are not included on the CD.
