3550s good enough for QoS exam

Sorry if it's been posted before, but can anyone tell me if the 3550 EMI will cut it for the QoS exam? Or am I going to have to get some 3560s which will send me to the poor house? I've also got a bunch of 2621xms running advanced IP services.

Thanks in advance for any help

Don't know why they wouldn't work for the exam. I used 2950's and 2611xm's when I took it a couple years ago now.

Believe it or not, the 3560s/3750s use completely different queueing methods (SRR vs the tested WRR). This will more then likely only make things more confusing.

2950s (EI) or 3550s are perfect for the QoS exam as all of the syntax that you will see will be based off of these devices.

Actually there are some differences between the Catalyst 2950 and 3550, for example when it comes to configuring the expedite/priority queue.

So, read the chapter very carefully in the QoS book. The exam is focused on the Catalyst 2950.
