Cisco Alerts and Logs

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help with the commands to set up email alerts on Cisco Switch and ASA 5510. I have configured the logging as below and I'm trying to set up the email with the commands further down but the Switch does not recongnise it any ideas. Thanks

logging buffered 64000 notifications

logging trap debug
logging 10.248.232.5

access-list 20 remark *** SNMP Control List ***
access-list 20 permit 10.248.232.5
access-list 20 deny any log

snmp-server community reado RO 20
snmp-server location Coventry Comms Room
snmp-server contact IT Support
snmp-server enable traps stpx root-inconsistency loop-inconsistency
snmp-server enable traps syslog
snmp-server enable traps vlan-membership
snmp-server host 10.248.232.5 version 2c reado

logging from (email address)
logging recipient-address (email addres)
logging mail 3
smtp-server 10.248.232.2
logging host DMZ <syslog-server-ip>

I have just worked out that the above works on the firewalls but not on the switch. Can anyone help with setting up alerts on a 3750 fro example.
