in CCNA & CCENT
I am checking my internet connection is working but i used the router checking function and the results are
like i told you my internet is working so i dont understand why the router have that RED X it say Connectivity to Gateway (190.87.0.1) that ip is the next hop which i can reach with a ping so any idea
i think is a software weeoe or something..

Generally this happens when you have a good physical connection to a dslam and the port is enabled but the provider has not provisioned a path to the internet. Since you have internet you got me.....

Is this for a home router? On your home PC? If so, jump into safe w/net and try there. If it works, software is the problem, likely an overexcited AV's firewall or you could be infected.

I am using dsl in my 2 sites and this error just happen to me if I have
1. wrong username and password
2. telco config problem
