Same here, I purchased 70-680 and 70-685 Training Kits + Windows 7 resource kit back in July, I'm still in chapter 2 in the 70-680 book.

Don't forget that at one point the MCSE:Messaging was a prerequisite for the Cisco Unity Voice Mail Specialization Certificate. While that prerequisite looked like it was dropped (the last time I checked), MS Server knowledge still has value to a Cisco Voice wonk.

I saw that. They discontinued that in like 2008 right? I thought that was very interesting to have one vendor require another vendors certs. You could do it man. Then while your at it, why not do all of the LPIC exams as well for good measure.

That would be a lot of work lol.

Actually..... when I decided to finally certify it came down to a choice between the Cisco CCIE or Redhat RHCE -- because of the Lab Exams. I do have the LPIC exams on my certification wish list, but I was never a big Redhat fanboy -- I started with Slackware and would use SuSE when the customer didn't want to pay for IBM/AIX. All my home Linux servers are still SuSE, but I'm probably going to change next upgrade cycle since Novell is where UNIX goes to die.

Awesome!!! I prepared for the MCTS: Managing Projects with Project 2007 and didnt take the exam because the CCNA Security and other things became necessary for a job. Now I think I will get that and the Excel Application Specialist one that Ive wanted for sooo long!!

One question: Do you have to specify which exams are you bundling or can you just pay 5 exams and take whichever you prefer along the way??

You just say you want a bundle of 5 and they send you a voucher code. When you register your first test you pay for all 5 tests. Every test you register from that point on uses the same voucher code and is "free". You don't have to specify at all.
