Signed up for CCENT 9/13

I watched the Train Signal videos and am pretty decent at subnetting, I think. Going to look at some practice tests and go through the Cisco Press book. I've been slacking on my studies because I didn't have a date set, so I figured now that I did, it's time to light a fire and get it finished.

If anyone wants to throw me some random questions (not asking for exact questions that are on the exam), feel free. There's never enough practice.

Makes sense, I guess, since you can use IOS on one question to answer a previous one. But there's always that question where you click 'Next' and realize you selected the wrong answer.

Just going to finish up with some of these random test questions and run through some more videos.

good luck, know your labs. I failed at 1st by less then a nose(maybe 1 question) but my prep time for my pass changed to more lab then study of information. You heard it before a pass will not result in information to memory but a true of if you know it or not. 1st time I didn't use Boson later I did, night before test don't study all night long get a good night rest. Relax, Relax. knock it out!!!!!!

Good luck! The practice tests that come with the Cisco Press book are harder than the actual exam to me. If you can get a decent score on those, you've got it in the bag.

Thanks all. I passed with a 925/1000. It was a hell of a lot easier than I thought. I was shell shocked when it dumped me into a simulator right off the bat. I had a brain fart and forgot everything for a moment.

I recovered and hammered through the exam. During the first 15 minutes of the exam, when it is showing you how to test, I wrote down important notes regarding subnetting, this saved a few minutes.

I finished the exam with 55 minutes left.

Thanks. 3 tests taken and passed in just over a month. I think it's time for a break. I believe I have 3 years to pass the ICND2, correct?

Even if you could return to previous questions in a Cisco test -where the hell do you get the time?

I usually end with 15-20 minutes

Nope, once you press NEXT, you're done with that question. The drag and drops and simlets will even ask you if you're absolutely sure. Make sure you're certain before you click

Anyway... congrats on the PASS (I didn't read far enough along).
