    You don't need the RHCE in order to sit for the course or the exam, however if you complete all the exams you will not be given the RHCVA certification without a valid RHCE.

    You're thinking about RHCA.

    This certification doesn't require RHCT/E.

    That's strange I didn't notice that. The RHCSS requires the RHCE...wonder why the virtualization track doesn't. Thanks for the correction.

    RHS333: Security: Network Services
    RH401: Deployment and Systems Management
    RH423: Enterprise Directory Services and Authentication

    I would say anyone taking the course has a very high chance of passing the exam. Just take the course anyways... you learn a lot.
