I would like to know how to run a stress test or what tools to use on a router to find any CRC errors.

Yes, I know that I was getting CRC errors, but I will like to do a stress test to see if I'm still getting errors.

What do you mean by stress test? Overload the router in what sense, CPU utilisation, memory or input/output packets?

I think what you can do is to configure the interfaces to half duplex(speed 10, duplex half) and send broadcast traffic from multiple devices on the shared network where the router is. Remember to accept directed broadcasts on the router as it may be configured with #no ip directed broadcast

Another thing you can do is to disable cef switching and fast switching.
