Is it just me or does this book not go into as much depth as you thought it would coming from a fresh CCNA stand point. I havent really had any AHHH HAH moments...just a lot of refresher and some new items.

Optionspeanutnoggin Member Posts: 1,096 ■■■□□□□□□□Coming off of the CCNA, the SWITCH will be a big review of VLANs, Security, etc... It's not until you get into items such as First Hop Redundancy Protocols, Private VLANs, VLAN Access-Maps, etc... that's when you'll hit the ahh-haa moment. HTH. Good luck with your studies...

Optionsnotgoing2fail Member Posts: 1,138It's not the book but the exam itself. The exam is closely attached to the CCNA and CCNA Security exams.
Personally I did expect to learn a lot more, or perhaps I had a different impression of SWITCH. It's still hard though, don't get me wrong....
And the planning topics are a bore.... -
