RHCE reuslt ! I can't belive it :(

I'm shocked, I've just recieved my RHCE exam results !!

RHCT components score:                             66.7%
RHCE components score:                             93.8%

RHCT Certification:                                NO PASS
RHCE Certification:                                NO PASS

I requested a correction for my exam...this is a funny score, but wth !!!!

First off sorry to hear your results and best of luck on your next shot. It is more than likely as you said you missed making something persistent or slipped a key when setting up a user password.

As for the exams:

You have always had to pass the RHCT to receive the RHCE.

If you later pass the RHCT you will not earn the RHCE even if you passed that portion of the test previously, it is just the way it is. This is part of the reason it is now a pre-req to be an RHCSA before you can attempt the RHCE.

As for the way they grade the exam first it is run through a script and then hand checked.

This is not actually true. According to Red Hat you can take both exams, but you just won't receive the RHCE certificate until you have passed the RHCSA.

No problem. When they changed the exams I read through everything with a fine tooth comb because I had to make changes in my book.

I had actually the same thing: RHCE: 98%, RHCT: 58%(or something).

There was no sense in having RHCE and RHCT in one exam and having to retake the whole exam (which costs a sh**load of money).

I as well asked for to do a score check: "everthing was correct".

They might as well don't look at it. You'll never know.

Actually they reviewed and turned out I failed.

Then I took the exam again and passed, check this thread out:
