NM-1FE2W for 2620xm

I read the NM-1FE2W compatibility matrix and that it is not supported in the 2620xm. By not supported do they mean a 2620xm will not recognize the module or tac won't support you if you have a problem with it? I came across a thread on cln (which of course I can't find anymore) and a few people claim that it works just fine on their 2620xm. I found one on ebay for $50 but I'd hate to be out that much if in the end the router won't recognize it. Thoughts?

The combo NMs that do E+W don't work at all in a 2600XM. The FE only NMs aren't officially supported in a 2600XM but do work.

Eh, I don't want to burn up my nm slot just for one fe interface. I'd rather get a 3745 and save the 2620xm for multiples vwics. Thanks.
